Mr James Potter BDS (L'pool), MJDF RCS (Eng)

Following graduation from the University of Liverpool, James completed his Dental Foundation Training year in Coventry. During this year he confirmed his interest in the surgical aspects of dentistry and applied to the West Midlands Deanery for hospital jobs. He spent two years as a Senior House Officer in Maxillofacial Surgery firstly at New Cross Hospital, Wolverhampton before moving to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham. With the support of the Consultants James applied for and accepted a place at Medical School in Birmingham.

James is on the acclerated course at Birmingham Medical School and hopes to become a Maxillofacial Surgeon. He is on the Junior Trainee Programme for Maxillofacial surgeons, supported by the British Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons and holds a honorary contract with Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham.

He currently spends his time between his studies at Birmingham, his middle grade on call work at various hospitals in the West Midlands and his private practice in London. James is a keen polo player and skier. 

James is experienced in all aspects of Oral Surgery from surgical extraction of impacted wisdom teeth to incisional and excisional biopsies.

He is a member of the Joint Dental Faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, British Association of Oral & Maxillofacail Surgeons and British Dental Association.
